Jewellery Care Guide

**Daily wear.** Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, sleeping and household cleaning. Chlorine and bleach attack alloys used in gold.

**Perfume and cosmetics.** Apply perfume, hairspray and lotions first, and let them dry before putting jewellery on.

**Cleaning at home.** Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a very soft brush is enough for plain gold. Do not scrub around set stones.

**Emeralds and soft stones.** Never use ultrasonic cleaners on emeralds, pearls, opals or turquoise — bring them to us instead.

**Storage.** Store pieces separately in soft pouches so they do not scratch one another; keep chokers and chains flat.
