**How a commission works.** We agree the design, metal, purity, stones and final weight in writing before any gold is drawn. A written estimate is issued.

**Deposit structure.** Commissions are staged: an initial deposit to begin, a second stage when production starts, and the balance on completion. The exact percentages are shown to you on the custom order form before you commit.

**Weight tolerance.** Handmade pieces carry a small weight tolerance, normally within ±3%. The final invoice reflects the actual finished weight.

**Changes.** Design changes after production has started may attract additional making charges.

**Cancellation.** Deposits are non-refundable once materials are issued to the karkhana.
